BAES is a 'good' provider of Adult Education operating in a range of locations across the vibrant and diverse city of Birmingham. We are looking to further increase the quality of our service to learners and see these posts as being critical to achieving our aim.

Working flexibly for 18.25 hours per week to include some teaching, you will lead, support and manage a team of tutors in the delivery of a high quality programme of accredited and non-accredited courses in your subject area. You will ensure that these programmes are relevant to local communities, and that learner entitlement to appropriate support and services is met. You must hold minimum of a Level 4 teaching qualification (or be willing to achieve this within the first year); a relevant vocational, professional or academic qualification at a minimum of Level 3; and English and Maths qualification at Level 2. You must also have substantial experience of teaching in related curricula, at a variety of levels within an adult learning environment. Experience of programme management would be an advantage.

Working for Birmingham Adult Education Service, you will be based in one of our main centres but will be required to work across the city.
