1:1 Pupil Support Worker (Level 1 Teaching Assistant) 12 hrs per week Grade L03 £3,379 - £3,986 per annum.

St. Mary's Church in Wales Aided Primary School is looking to appoint a part time pupil support worker (afternoons) to support a child at Foundation Phase with specific learning needs.

We require a creative, flexible, motivated and hard working individual who will enhance an already outstanding staff team in our very successful school.

Have good sense of humour, be flexible but consistent in your approach, be reliable, resilient and patient, and exhibit a calm professional manner;

Have good organisational skills and the ability to form excellent working relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Be hardworking and committed to a physically and emotionally demanding role.

Previous experience of working within a child developmental environment essential.

Experience and understanding of Makaton would be an desirable.
