Who we are looking for
We are looking for a number of full-time teaching assistants to join our team of highly dedicated, flexible and experienced people, who deliver outstanding education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support our students within the classroom and various community settings to achieve positive and meaningful outcomes in their education and to promote independence;
  • Possess a relevant Level 3 qualification, GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent;
  • Have previous experience of supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other complex needs including, PDA, OCD and ADHD is desirable along with knowledge of the impact on learning of complex needs and ASD.

Successful applicants are required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure which will also include a check against the Barred Lists. Disclosure expense will be met by the National Autistic Society.

What we can offer you
We offer excellent training opportunities, pension scheme, discount scheme with major retailers and the equivalent of up to 33 days annual leave (rising to 35 days after five years service). Please note that paid holiday entitlement is pro rata for term time workers on the basis of weeks worked. An extra three days leave are awarded in the 'anniversary years' of service from ten years onwards (i.e. 10, 15, 20 years), taking holiday entitlement to 38 days for that year.
