The Governors are seeking to appoint a high quality, dedicated, reliable and caring person to undertake a general and specific support role across the school. Our children are happy, well behaved, enthusiastic learners and we know you will enjoy spending your days with them.

Initially the role will involve supporting various children in their learning within a Y1 classroom, but this might extend to supporting children in other classes as you gain in experience.

Successful candidates will preferably have:

• experience of working in a Catholic school or other Faith school.
• experience of working with Primary age children
• experience of supporting children with specific learning needs such as Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
• a willingness and ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
• a patient, enthusiastic and happy nature
• a high level of self-motivation and self-management
• an ability to manage good behaviour in children in a positive and supportive way
• high expectations and self-confidence
• a proven ability to work cooperatively and to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
• a willingness to assist children with their personal care needs if necessary
