The Focus School Biggleswade Campus is a new campus opening in September 2014 following the amalgamation of the Cheshunt Primary and Barnet Secondary Campuses.

The Trustees at this small, successful independent school require a well-qualified, enthusiastic, effective Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated Teaching and Support Staff at our NEW School.

We have 2 Teaching Assistant vacancies at our New Campus in the Primary Department, however we would like some flexibility in the Teaching Assistants working across both the Primary and Secondary Phases.

You will:

  • Be an experienced Teaching Assistant ideally with experience of supporting both primary and secondary students
  • Be able to support pupils in reaching their full potential by work closely with the SENCO and Class Teacher to offer support to pupils in 1:1, small group and classroom settings
  • Be able to provide administrative support in pupil tracking and record keeping
  • Respect the school's ethos, aims and values
  • Enjoy being part of a supportive team
  • Be caring and enthusiastic

OneSchool Global UK Biggleswade Campus opened in September 2014. Combining the current campus and former Cambridge Campus onto one site in September 2018, it now has students attending that live in a number of surrounding counties.

OneSchool Global UK Biggleswade Campus comprises three buildings, the main building built in 2006 housing classrooms and offices, the multi-purpose Hall block completed in August 2014 containing PE facilities, cookery room and lunch-time Servery, and the new East Block built in 2018 housing classrooms and working areas.

It is a successful school, which received an excellent rating in all areas in their latest inspection in March 2018.
