Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor & HLTA

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant/HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join our hard-working, friendly and supportive team. You will hold HLTA status, have previous experience of working in a primary school setting and will be keen to promote height standards. The role will involve working primarily in an early years class with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. You will also be required to release teachers for PPA and leadership time. An experience in Early Years is essential.

Job Deatails

• Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor: 18.5 hours per week - £8.98 - £10.27 per hour, 39 weeks per annum
• HLTA: 6 hours per week - £10.57 - £12.41 per hour, 39 weeks per annum

You will need to hold a relevant NVQ Level 2/3 qualification (or be currently working towards this) together will GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent and be ICT literate. You will need to be a supportive and positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills with some knowledge of SEN.

A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school will be important.

Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be an advantage. You must be willing to contribute to the continued improvement of our school.
