Teaching Assistant

Hours: 27.1 hours per week,. 39 weeks per annum

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team of classroom assistants. You will be part of the school team but will work closely in partnership with class teachers to support and develop children's learning. We have a fantastic working environment and children who are keen to learn.

We are looking for someone who is:

• committed to supporting children to achieve their full potential
• enthusiastic, keen to learn and who can reflect on their own learning.
• be able to build good relationships with children and colleagues
• able to work as part of a team
• flexible, adaptable & willing to take initiative
• possesses enthusiasm and has a can do attitude
• may have relevant professional qualifications e.g. NVQ3 or HLTA status although this is not essential
• willing to support the caring, inclusive, Christian ethos of the school
• has excellent communication skills.

You will be required to provide occasional meal time assistant cover on a casual basis - e.g. to cover staff sickness.
