Ladybarn Primary School wishes to appoint a talented teaching assistant to work with children who are new to learning English.

Salary: TA level 3 Grade 4 £16,998 Term Time only, 35 hours a week.
39 weeks a year. Equates to £14,572 per annum

The successful candidate will be very knowledgeable and confident in working with EAL pupils. They will also be highly motivated, dynamic and flexible. They will have excellent English and mathematics skills.

The role will be interesting and varied and the postholder will be expected to undertake a wide range of tasks including planning, delivering and evaluating small group interventions, supporting staff and communicating with parents.

The school places a strong emphasis on safeguarding and the post is subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and 2 suitable professional references.

Ladybarn Primary is part of the Kingsway Community Trust a Multi Academy Trust, which is also made up of Green End and the newly opened, Cringle Brook Primary Schools. This provides the staff and children of both schools with enhanced development and networking opportunities.

The Trust is led and managed by one Executive Headteacher, who is a National Leader of Education and one Governing Body, whose Chair is a National Leader of Governance. In each school there is a full time Head of School who lead and manage alongside the Executive Headteacher.
