About St. Brigid's School

St. Brigid’s School is a mixed, 3-19 Catholic ethos school, situated in the town of Denbigh, in the Denbighshire county in north-east Wales. It is a voluntary-aided maintained school. A smaller than average size for a school of its type, the latest Estyn report identifies a student roll of 510 students, including Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form.

The school was first established by the Congregation of St. Brigid under the invitation of the Bishop of Menevia in 1939. It was known as the Brigidine Convent School until 1990, when it gained the name it goes by today.
