St White's Primary School is seeking to appoint a flexible Teaching Assistant with experience, to work with our friendly team. The person appointed will be willing to work across all phases and will assist in co-ordinating the introduction and development of extended school activities.
The successful candidate will hold QCF Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate at least 6 years' appropriate experience.
Essential skills include:
- Good literacy and maths skills
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Experience of working with Nurture Groups (desirable)
- Experience of working with disadvantaged pupils and pupils who present with challenging behaviour
- Experience of planning and delivering interventions to groups of pupils (This will be under the direction of our Inclusion Manager.)
