We wish to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis, five mornings a week, to support a Year 5 child with a Statement of Special Educational Needs.
This post is temporary to assist with the needs of one child and as such is subject to his continuing attendance at school and the outcomes of Statement reviews.
The successful candidate will need:
- Experience of working with children with SEND in a KS2 setting.
- To be committed to inclusion and working in partnership with parents.
- To be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- To be resilient, positive, sensitive and patient.
The successful candidate will also provide support for half an hour each day at lunchtime on a Grade C contract.
