We urgently need a hardworking, committed Teaching Assistant/MSA to join our staff team. There are two parts to this job offer. Firstly to support the learning of specific children either individually or within small groups in class and secondly to look after our junior children while they eat and play at lunchtimes, clear up after they have finished eating, wipe tables, sweep the floor and deal with first aid.
The ideal candidate should be hard working, energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, kind and understanding, but firm and fair when necessary. Some previous experience of working in a school setting and with children would be an advantage. The successful applicant will join a friendly, supportive and approachable staff team.
The Teaching Assistant post is 25 hours a week, from 8.45am until 12.15pm and then 1.55pm until 3.25pm Monday to Friday term time only. This post will be on grade H2.
The Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) post is 5 hours a week, from 12.15pm until 1.15pm Monday to Friday. This post will be on grade HB.
