Teaching Assistant

32 hours per week, term time only

Required as soon as possible to support Special Needs pupils in our Specialist Resource Provision and across the school

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide support for individuals and groups of children in our Specialist Resource Provision for children with language & communication difficulties.

This work will involve close liaison with the Inclusion Manager, SRP Manager and with class teachers. The ability to work as part of a team is essential. It will include working with children from 3-11 years of age. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience of or training to support children's learning in a school setting. Experience of working with children who have special needs will be an advantage.
