Welcome from the Principle

I hope you find this website helpful in finding out what we are all about at Fredrick Nattrass Primary Academy. Frederick Nattrass Primary Academy has 234 pupils and a nursery with 52 part time places. We currently have two form entry in Y6 and Y3 and a mixed age class in KS1 as well as a Y1 and Y2 class; we have classes of approximately 30 children in each year group.

At Frederick Nattrass Primary Academy we have high expectations of our children and set challenging targets for them. Our children deserve the best so we will continually strive for excellence, to give all pupils the confidence to achieve their full potential.

We expect pupils to work hard but also to enjoy their time with us. We provide a safe, calm and caring atmosphere in school and foster a hardworking ethos based on a love of learning. We are pleased to offer a varied selection of enrichment opportunities and we have excellent links with our community.

Our new curriculum provides the opportunity to increase creativity and challenge pupils further by encouraging them to take risks in their learning. By the time pupils leave us, we expect them to be independent learners, who are motivated and inspired to learn more.

Pupil voice and parent partnership play an integral role in developing the school further. We look forward to working together with you to ensure that we provide the high-quality education that is synonymous with Frederick Nattrass Primary Academy. Pupils are able to achieve amazing results when they have the support of the staff, their peers and you as parents. If we all work together, the pupils can achieve more than they ever dreamed.
