Part Time, Fixed Term 32.5 hours per week, Term Time only, 39 weeks
Fixed Term Contract : June 2014 (Pending safeguarding clearance) to August 2015.

The Governing Body of Libanus Primary is seeking to appoint a dynamic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support learning in the school. Candidates will be required to have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent.

  • The Teaching Assistant will be required to work under the guidance of, and with the Teaching and Senior Staff to implement agreed programmes of work
  • Cover whole classes during the short- term absence of teachers on occasions
  • Staff will be expected to support class teachers with assessment procedure
  • There will be a strong focus on working as a member of our very strong school team, encouraging positive behaviour in our children and assisting them in achieving high standards
  • There will be a requirement to understand and have prior experience of KS2 curriculum
  • Provide general clerical/administrative support in line with your role (eg filing information, photocopying worksheets/letters, compiling lists, classroom displays, laminating etc)
