Teaching Assistant - Level 3

• 15 hours per week, 9.00-12.00 daily
• Fixed term until March 27 2015

Hodnet is a growing primary school. It is a requirement that the post holder will have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent. The post will require supporting a pupil with specific needs.

In addition these posts require individuals who demonstrate the following;

• A real commitment to working with children and those who impact their lives and educational experience including parents/carers and a range of multi-agency professionals.
• Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour issues
• A professional attitude and commitment to furthering their own development
• Experience of working across the primary phases
• A high level of motivation and initiative
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
