Teaching Assistant Level One Stakeford First School

The post will involve supporting a child with a statement of Special Educational Needs to access learning in school and provide supervision during playtimes and lunchtime. The successful candidate will need to:

  • provide classroom support for this pupil
  • support their work towards individual targets, as outlined in the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  • liaise with parents and external agencies, implementing any required intervention and support programmes
  • contribute to the IEP review.

This post is a variable hours contract between 17.5 hours and 31.00 hours, initially for 26.0 hours per week.

This post is a fixed term contract to provide support while the pupil concerned attends the school.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to visit the school prior to interview.
