We require two temporary Teaching Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisors

  • Post 1: 15 hours of TA support in the morning and 5 hrs 50 minutes of lunchtime support
  • Post 2: 10 hours of TA support in the afternoon and 5 hrs 50 minutes of lunchtime support

The positions are temporary at this point as there are several unknowns we cannot clarify in the short term, but they both have the possibility of further employment in future or even a permanent contract.

We are looking for two people willing to complete training to gain the skills and knowledge to move the children forward.

The education minimum requirement is GCSE English and mathematics.

Staff have to be able to write clearly for young children as a role model and be confident in their use of English.

Lunchtime staff are very important for a productive and happy time for the children;

Staff are required to interact positively during this time with the children.

The TA hours are 8.50-12 [including one break duty a week] or 1.10-3.10 Monday to Friday and the lunch duty is from 12 to 1.10pm.

Ofsted said in February 2014 that we are a 'Good' school.

The Teaching Assistant grade is 4 point 11 and the rate of pay is £14,880 pro rata , £7.71 per hour
The Lunchtime Supervisor grade is 1 point 6, the rate of pay £12,876 pro rata, £6.67 per hour
