The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and committed teaching assistant to work, in the first instance, in Key Stage 2.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff who are keen to build on our existing good practice and provide children with a wonderful learning experience. We are looking for someone who is a good team player, extremely motivated, with high expectations and passionate about working with children.

The role also includes 4 hours per week in a Midday Supervisor role which are paid separately at Grade 1, point 5 (£6.51 per hour)

Long Furlong is a County Primary school with an attached Nursery class. The school was opened in September 1993 and is housed in an exciting and well resourced building in North Abingdon. The school has one class for each year group accommodated in separate classrooms.Our annual intake of pupils into the main school is thirty per year, with a total of children in the main school of 214 pupils.The Nursery class has 52 part-time places and has its own separate garden.
