17.5 hours per week (term time only), Monday - Friday mornings

Required as soon as possible, a part-time temporary Teaching Assistant to provide in-class support for EYFS and/or KS1 classes each morning. We seek a caring, enthusiastic and flexible person to join our highly motivated staff team until the end of this academic year 2014/15.

Working under the direction of class teachers this role will require you to work with individuals and small groups in order to help children achieve their potential. This may include working within lessons and providing intervention support.

NVQ level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent is essential. Some experience of working with EYFS and/or KS1 pupils is desirable and a good phonics understanding is required.

You must enjoy working with children, must be firm but positive in dealing with pupils' behaviour and must be friendly and approachable.
