There are two posts available, please indicate when applying which vacancy you wish to be considered for, or both.

Post 1: Teaching Assistant - 23.5 hours, Grade 4, £16,215 - £17,980 pro rata - starting salary will depend on experience

Essential Qualifications: 5 GCSEs inc English and Maths and NCFE Level 3 or equivalent

Post 2: Higher Level Teaching Assistant - 9 hours, Grade 6, £19,317 - £21,734 pro rata - starting salary will depend on experience

Essential Qualifications: 5 GCSEs inc English and Maths and a HLTA qualification or equivalent

The Governors of our happy, successful school wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2, although flexibility throughout the key stages is expected.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school.

  • Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

  • Is committed to working alongside teaching staff to raise standards within a broad and balanced curriculum.

  • Is willing to contribute and work effectively as part of a team.
