Teaching Assistant

Term time only
23 hours per week - 2 full days and 3 half days

The Governors of this happy, successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, creative and adaptable teaching assistant to work predominantly in the Reception class.

The successful candidate should:

• Demonstrate high standards of primary classroom practice
• Have experience of working with children with a range of needs
• Provide evidence of planning and evaluating learning activities and assessing/tracking pupil progress
• Have experience of supporting and extending children's learning through play 
• Have a good understanding of child development and learning (particularly inEarly Years)
• Have a commitment to safeguarding and the care and personal development of children.

Essential Qualifications: NCFE/CACHE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Teaching Assistant or Early Years or similar)
5 GCSE's including Maths and English, grades A-C
