Hours:15 hours per week

Main Responsibilities

Experienced TA required to work with pupils with special educational needs in KS2 both 1:1 and in small groups and to assist over lunch.

Experience and knowledge of working with children with learning difficulties eg. Autism, within a multi-sensory setting would be an advantage.

To assist the class teacher in both learning support and administration.

Qualifications/ Qualities Needed

  • Minimum NVQ III or equivalent childcare qualification
  • Calm patient manner, quick learner and flexibility of approach.
  • Used to working as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Well organised and efficient with sense of humour and sense of fun.

Hours of post (term time only 42.68 weeks)

11.50am - 3.10pm daily - 15 hours per week (includes 1 x unpaid break)

Salary

Salary is paid evenly over 12 months.
