Teaching Assistant (SEN) (post 2)

13 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant for our Communication and Interaction Centre who is experienced in supporting the learning and needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs for two days a week.

We are looking for someone who is quietly confident with a calm and happy disposition to join a dedicated team of hard working colleagues.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience of working with children with SEND particularly with communication difficulties
• Ability to form positive relationships with children
• Strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively
• Willingness to do personal care and lunchtime duties are part of the job.
