30 hours, Fixed Term until July 31st in the first instance, Term time only

It is a requirement that the post holder will have a minimum of a HLTA qualification and will be involved with the development and delivery of appropriate programmes of study to ensure that children of all abilities meet or exceed expected targets. The post will require supporting pupils with a diverse range of learning needs, including gifted and talented, initially in KS1

Both posts will require the successful candidates to have:

  • A real commitment to working with children and those who impact their lives and educational experience including parents/carers and a range of multi-agency professionals.
  • A professional attitude and commitment to furthering their own development
  • Significant experience of working within  KS 1
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive behaviour management
  • A high level of motivation and initiative
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of, or the potential to develop, professional knowledge and skills to support pupils with specific Special Educational Needs and children with ADHD

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. (Tuesday, 04 November from 1.00 pm until 4.30 pm)
