Job overview

25 hours, Fixed Term until July 31st in the first instance, Term time only

The successful candidate will be supporting children with specific behavioural concerns, initially in KS1. It is expected that the successful candidate will be qualified to at least NVQ 3 or equivalent

Both posts will require the successful candidates to have:

  • A real commitment to working with children and those who impact their lives and educational experience including parents/carers and a range of multi-agency professionals.
  • A professional attitude and commitment to furthering their own development
  • Significant experience of working within  KS 1
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive behaviour management
  • A high level of motivation and initiative
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of, or the potential to develop, professional knowledge and skills to support pupils with specific Special Educational Needs and children with ADHD

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. (Tuesday, 04 November from 1.00 pm until 4.30 pm)
