Teaching Assistant

Experienced and talented teaching assistants are required to work with children excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream school. We have vacant posts at KS2, 3 and 4. Applicants may express an interest in a particular Key Stage but the expectation is that they should be willing to work across all Key Stages if required

If you have:

• experience of working with teachers to engage young people in learning
• ability to form and sustain supportive relationships with challenging children and their parents
• creative and innovative ideas
• a positive personality with a good sense of humour

In this role, you will:

• work alongside a supportive staff team creating an outstanding school
• have an exciting opportunity to make a difference and put our Alternative Learning Provision at the heart of the service for vulnerable children in the city

Experience of the Nurture agenda would be an advantage.
