The Governing Body of this happy, successful, voluntary aided primary school where Christian values are central to our ethos, seek to appoint a temporary full time Teaching Assistant from January 2015

The position is in the EYFS setting and experience and knowledge of working with children in EYFS would be an advantage. You will assist the class teacher in providing a stimulating and inviting setting, with learning support, assessment and record keeping.

The successful candidate will be a highly committed, creative and energetic practitioner who is able to support us in offering the highest quality provision to our children. They will become part of a forward looking team and as such should be prepared to play an active role in the life and work of the school.

Please state curriculum strengths and interests in your application. Read, Write Inc knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications/ Qualities Needed

  • Minimum NVQ III or equivalent childcare qualification
  • Calm patient manner, quick learner and flexibility of approach
  • Used to working as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Well organised and efficient with sense of humour and sense of fun.
