29.50 hours per week (Tues, Wed Thurs 8.45am - 3.30pm - Mon & Fri 9.00am to 3.30pm) Term time only (38 weeks)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this high achieving, popular one form entry school from September 2014. Based in Battersea, John Burns has a wonderful community spirit that celebrates our diverse population. We are looking for an outstanding individual to share our vision for "Giving our best and achieving our highest". We expect the post holder to make a significant individual contribution to our ongoing success.

You will need to be pro-active in supporting and engaging pupils in the classroom and during outdoor break times. We are looking for someone who will take pride in supporting these young children with their social and academic skills. You need to be flexible, patient and confident about working with young children.

English and Maths GCSE grade A-C, or equivalent, essential. Candidates selected for interview must bring evidence of their qualifications with them.
