North Leigh is a thriving village school with supportive staff and parents, and the children are a pleasure to teach.
We are looking for two teaching assistants to support a range of children in the school. the posts are temporary until July 2015. One position is full time working each day from 9am - 3pm. the second position is for 20 hours per week to be worked on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Both positions are required to do at least one break time and lunch duty per week.
The successful candidates will be required for a variety of tasks; working with pupils one to one, in class and in small groups to support development in Literacy, Maths and all other curriculum areas. An experience in working with pupils with learning difficulties is desirable but the successful candidates may have skills in other areas.
GCSE's Grade C or above in English and Maths are essential as well as a good understanding of basic ICT and it is desirable to have had previous experience of working in schools.
