The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to become part of a new, developing team, supporting learning across the school.
The focus of the role will be to implement new initiatives, including 1:1 support and small group work, providing guidance to children and those engaged with them, by removing barriers to learning.
We promote an ethos of learning and achievement for all and are looking for a highly skilled, hard working person who is passionate about teaching and learning.

Provide support and guidance to children and engage with them, by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and encourage children to achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working with children.
- The ability to work as part of a new team developing support strategies for children across the school, to remove barriers to learning.
- The ability to be creative and use initiative to engage a child.
- The ability to build effective relationships with children and stay calm under pressure or in frustrating situations.
- Experience in communicating effectively with the line manager to provide feedback on successes, areas for development or concerns.
