Describe what the role is responsible
An enthusiastic and committed person is required to play a key role in supporting the College's ambition to deliver excellence in teaching, learning & assessment across FE, HE & WBL. The post holder will provide a pro-active approach to continuous improvement through development of a comprehensive quality assurance framework. You will also provide innovative and interesting activities aimed at supporting the professional development of tutors and training officers, as well as ensuring active engagement with quality processes and procedures. 

Key qualities sought:

  • Ability to engage with colleagues to work within quality assurance systems to continuously improve teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Excellence in the delivery teaching, learning & assessment across a range of levels.
  • Track record of delivering successful and innovative teaching, learning and assessment practices.
  • Evidence of placing the learner at the heart of what you do.
  • Experience of supporting organisations to meet the requirements of regulatory regimes e.g. external audit, inspection bodies.
  • Excellent knowledge of Awarding Body requirements in meeting assessment and verification requirements.
  • Strong customer care skills including face to face, email and over the telephone.
  • Ability to support and influence others in the engagement with quality systems and meeting internal and external standards.
