Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teaching colleague to lead our English team. With proven leadership ability, you will make a vital contribution to the delivery of world class teaching and learning in English to raise aspiration and achievement amongst our young people and their families. The post becomes vacant following the retirement of the previous post holder.
Sarum Academy is a co-educational, 11-18 church school situated on the western edge of the medieval city of Salisbury. A core 'schools within a school' structure is central to our pastoral system and ensures every pupil feels valued.
We have undergone rapid improvement, and we moved into our new £15.5 million building in September 2013.
As part of our ongoing commitment to 21st Century learning all staff are provided with iPads as well as laptops and all classrooms are fully interactive.
