Churchill Community College is a successful 11-18 Community College, with a Sports specialism. Churchill was deemed 'Outstanding' in every area in our recent OFSTED inspection. In summer 2014 our overall 5+ A*- C pass rate at GCSE was 79%. Our 5+ A*- C rate including English and Maths was 63%. We expect to see a further rise in achievement next summer. We are looking for a dedicated and talented technician to help keep the department organised and support the staff within the department to deliver an outstanding learning experience for the students.
The right candidate will be able to communicate their passion for Technology to students and help the department create an exciting, inspiring learning experience for all students. The person will be responsible, for the health and safety within the department, looking after machinery and equipment within the department including a range of CAD/CAM equipment, support students in lessons with written and practical work, prepare materials and equipment and work together with other staff across the department to ensure students enjoy learning and achieve their potential in Technology.
