Temporary Primary Teacher

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This post is a part time teacher based on the nursery. Working days are Monday/Tuesday/alt Friday mornings.
 
Experience of the following areas are desirable:

• Learning and Teaching at Early Level
• Big Floor Planning in the Early Years
• Developing Literacy and Numeracy at Early Years
• Outdoor learning in the Early Years
• Nursery to Primary 1 tranisition

This post is fixed term until 22 December 2015 and considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
