Job overview

A family living in Luanda, Angola is looking to engage the services of a tutor for their 13 year old son. The successful candidate will be experienced and well qualified tutor with the ability to teach both in French and English. Initially, the tutor will be required to teach across all core curriculum subjects in French with a particular emphasis on Maths. In addition, the tutor will be required to teach written and spoken English with the aim to start teaching all subjects in English, in order to prepare him for his eventual move to school in the UK. They would also like the tutor to help their son with his current school work. He is currently being educated in the French Lyce in Luanda.

It is envisaged that the tutor will also teach English to their other children a couple of times a week. During the school week the tutoring hours will be from 3pm to 7pm and the tutor will be expected to teach for at least one day at the weekend.
