Tutor of Biology

Based in Leeds City Centre, the Leeds ISC prepares international students for entry to Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds.

As we continue to expand our courses and increase our student numbers, we are seeking to appoint dynamic and inspirational tutors to join and make substantial contributions to the development of the Centre and the team.

The successful candidate will have teaching experience at Level 3 and above in one or more of the following subject areas: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing and be able to contribute to the on-going development of the International Foundation Year Science, Engineering and Computing pathway.

One of the main duties of this role will be to design teaching materials and to deliver the module using appropriate teaching, learning support and assessment methods.

The candidate will be required to hold a recognised teaching qualification and have recent experience of teaching one or more of the above subjects. Candidates will also be expected to have tutorial experience, working in both large and small group settings.

Part time EAP: Tutors We are also seeking experienced tutors of English Language Preparation. All Leeds ISC students follow our English syllabus.

Candidates for all posts will have experience of teaching mixed ability groups of international students. Proficiency in the use of interactive technologies is highly desirable.
