Oldham Sixth Form College is looking to appoint talented and committed teachers to the following posts which are available from 19th August 2014.

Mathematics at Oldham Sixth Form College is a very well established subject, with excellent resources and a long tradition of high student performance. All classrooms are equipped with Smartboards and students are encouraged to purchase a graphical calculator. We currently have a team of 13 Mathematicians and a vacancy has occurred due to the retirement of one of our members.

We are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher with excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics. We offer a wide range of courses including GCSE, AS and A2 Mathematics, AS and A2 Use of Mathematics and Further Mathematics and the appointed person will have the opportunity to teach across a range of these depending on their personal strengths.

Closing date for completed applications for both posts is 12 noon 22nd April 2014. Interviews for the Mathematics post will be held Friday 25th April 2014.

The salary for the above post is points 1-9 on the Sixth Form College teaching pay spine currently £21,583 - £36,837. There is also the possibility of a responsibility point for the role of Course Leader for a suitably experienced candidate. PSP payments are transferable for applicants who meet the criteria. Applications from teachers currently working in schools are welcome.
