Upper KS2 Class Teacher, Sefton

May offer a TLR depending on expertise and experience in leading Maths.

We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach an upper KS2 class and lead a subject throughout the school.  This is an opportunity for a talented and ambitious teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team.  Experienced teachers and NQT's are welcome to apply as excellent professional development will be provided.  The appointment is for September 2014.

Completed, applications should be returned to the school for the attention of the Headteacher, Miss E. Murtagh to St Oswald's CE Primary School, Ronald Ross Avenue, Bootle, L30 5RH.

The closing date will be Thursday 1st May at 5pm.

Short listing will take place the following day (2nd May), shortlisted candidates will be informed by telephone and confirmation will be sent in writing.  The Headteacher will arrange an appointment with you during a two week period to observe you teach literacy or maths in your own setting.  Interviews will be held on 22nd May, all candidates will be asked to teach a specified task which will then be followed by a short interview.

An opportunity for short listed candidates to visit the school, will be arranged.
