Newton College (Lima, Peru) is a leading, private, Peruvian-British, co-educational school, located on a beautiful campus with excellent facilities that include a study centre in the Amazon Rainforest. We have a student roll of 1560 and we deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years and Diploma Programmes and the IGCSE. We belong to the Latin American Heads Conference (www.lahc.net).
For February 2015 we are looking for a Head of the Economics Department. We teach the Economics at IGCSE and IB Diploma programme. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in
- teaching the IGCSE and IBDP courses;
- teaching pupils who are second language learners in English;
- effective leadership of a post of responsibility.
We seek enthusiastic and caring teachers who enjoy collaborative planning. We offer an excellent work climate and an attractive package: 2- year contract, competitive salary in US dollars, settling-in allowance, medical insurance, flights and Spanish lessons.
