The School

Jumeirah College is a GEMS Premium Secondary School which delivers The National Curriculum for England to Years 7 to 13 offering the full range of GCSE and A level courses. We seek to appoint a Vice-Principal to join Jumeirah College from September 2014. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will assist with the provision of day to day leadership and management to maintain effective delivery of outstanding education. Roles and responsibilities will be determined according to the successful candidate's strengths and the needs of the College.

• Be an effective and dynamic leader with a proven track record of innovation and impact.
• Be vigorous in promoting school improvement as well as sharing our commitment to high standards and opportunities for all.
• Be able to demonstrate successful experience of leading and managing staff, promoting and developing approaches to learning
• Be an excellent communicator with students, staff and parents.
• Have a proven track record of strategic teamwork - the ability to work together in inspired collaboration.
• Have the confidence and experience to teach a National Curriculum subject across the secondary age range up to and including A level, holding a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
