An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and capable Vice Principal - Curriculum for The City of Liverpool College.

With a turnover of £47m annually, the College services c.17,000 learners each year from a diverse variety of backgrounds. With state-of-the-art facilities, Beacon status, Gold Investors in People status and an excellent purpose-built estate across the city, the College is home to ground breaking innovation and involved in a wide variety of exciting new developments across the city and the wider educational landscape.

The successful candidate will be accountable for all Curriculum activities, ensuring achievement & delivery of target performance results, quality standards, effective time-tabling, student retention and market-relevant course provision. The role-holder will provide strategic and operational leadership for all curriculum activity & processes to ensure the consistent achievement of excellent standards across all College curriculum activities coupled with continuously driving academic innovation & adaptation within a fast-changing marketplace and ensure that the Curriculum organisation structure and staffing are 'fit for purpose' in delivering excellence in T&L provision.

You will have proven consistent delivery of success as the accountable person for improving student performance & retention rates over multiple curriculum years. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of qualification in related subject. You must have a detailed understanding of OFSTED, SAR processes and quality inspection regimes

About The City of Liverpool College

 Founded in 1992 following the merger of four further education facilities, The City of Liverpool College is a co-educational, non-denominational further education facility operating from six educational sites. The College Campus is located within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, which also includes John Moores University and the University of Liverpool. Over £100 million has been invested into the city centre campus. As of the most recent inspection the approximate number of students on the total school roll was 11,000. There are a total of over 500 courses on offer to students, including young learners, sixth form, and adult education.
