Hanova International School in Xian is a relatively new school committed to IB philosophies. Based on the outskirts of the historical city of Xian - home to the Terra Cotta Warriors - Hanova is a community-driven school in new, purpose built premises.
We are currently an IB Candidate school for PYP, MYP and DP, and, subject to authorization, plan to offer the Diploma from September 2015
Previous experience in IB programmes would be desirable.
Due to a significant increase in student enrolment, we are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in school library management. This is a full-time dedicated position with no classroom responsibilities.
The successful candidate would be able to implement and develop the library database, develop and deliver a library curriculum, provide student workshops on learning skills, and to be an integral, proactive member of the whole teaching faculty.

Xi’an Hanova International School is a mixed, selective, non-denominational all-through school with sixth form situated in the sub-provincial city of Xi’an in Northwest China. It is an independent school that teaches primarily in English, in addition to some Korean, Spanish, French and Italian language teaching. It is additionally supported by the Hanova Company and Body School of Xi’an, China. It educates 227 students, with the ability to accommodate over 1,000 students throughout its preschool, primary, secondary and senior school, between the ages of 3-18. The overall school capacity is 1,400, a target for the school to fill over the next few years. Successful students are awarded IB and IGCSE qualifications.
The school was founded in September 2012, as a community-driven and not-for-profit school that provides education for the Xi’an community.
