The role of Work Placement Officer sits within the Student Support Service working closely with the Careers, Advice and Guidance Team and the wider college service.

You will lead on researching and providing work experience opportunities for students studying on a range of programmes including accessing existing opportunities, negotiating new placements, ensuring all risk assessments are complete and offering advice and guidance to both employers and students to ensure maximum benefit to both.

You will have recent, relevant, practical experience combined with excellent organisational and administrative skills and possess a level 4 qualification. You will have good communication skills, a keen interest in student welfare and achievement and a systematic and methodical approach to paperwork and information systems.

The role will require you to take on and work to the college's values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.
