Lilycroft Primary is a popular, oversubscribed school in the heart of Manningham, Bradford. We are looking for people who can help deliver our vision and live up to our school slogan "Work hard, be active, be happy!"

We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 teacher to teach in Year 3. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and fast progressing primary school where your teaching skills will be developed and your committed to outstanding teaching and learning will be recognised. This post will give the successful teacher the opportunity to work within a supportive team who are passionate about delivering a high standard of education to the children at Lilycroft Primary School. This is a maternity cover post for at least 2 terms.

  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum
  • Be a team player with a 'can do' attitude
  • Have a passion for and commitment to high quality primary school education

Lilycroft Primary School is a mixed, mainstream primary school for four to eleven year olds. Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, it’s a larger than average primary school with approximately 448 students. 

Established in 1874, Lilycroft Primary School is housed in a grade II listed building but is equipped with modern facilities. The school is in the process of converting to an academy operating under the Priestley Academy Trust, alongside Green Lane, Atlas Community, Margaret McMillan, Lister and Westbourne primary schools.

Lilycroft Primary School specialises in ICT. It began a partnership with Stone and now has 90 Classmate devices. They each come with a range of educational tools and apps to help the school deliver an enhanced learning experience.
