Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre class teacher to join the team at the Preparatory School. The successful applicant will have specific responsibility for our Year Three class. There will be an expectation that the new member of the team will add a subject specialism and have an ability to contribute to our extensive and exciting extra-curricular programme. The ability to teach Year Six mathematics would be an advantage but is not essential.

Applications are invited from teachers who have excellent classroom practice skills and the dedication and enthusiasm to be part of an experienced and thoroughly committed team.

The Preparatory School is an IAPS co-educational, independent day and boarding school and a member of the NACE group which consists of a family of 23 schools across five countries. We have approximately 100 boys and girls aged from 2-11 years with a recently expanded and often oversubscribed nursery school. Day pupils come in from a wide catchment area of about a 20 mile radius. Teachers at Stonar benefit from a generous fee remission for their children.

The school is situated in over 80 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet only a 20 minute drive from the World Heritage City of Bath and within easy reach of the M4 corridor.
