I really enjoy interacting and engaging with the smart students at ALA; they challenge me every day and I love learning from them.

I came to ALA, and remain at ALA, because of the mission and the people. It will be hard to find another workplace that is as mission-driven as ALA--the work we are doing matters. The students and fellow staff and faculty are incredibly smart, driven, kind, and caring. It is incredibly fulfilling to be surrounded by people who care about the work and do work that matters.

Undoubtedly the best thing about my work is the people I work with. Each person brings their unique perspective, expertise and energy to their job. Their dedication and support make working with my colleagues an enriching and fulfilling experience
