De Beauvoir Primary School

De Beauvoir is a local school with a global perspective with children from many different backgrounds and faith groups.

The school serves a wonderfully diverse population and is proud of its inclusivity. We prioritise developing and strengthening relationships with the children, their families and the community. De Beauvoir is more than just a school; it is part of the community.

We believe it is important to nurture the whole child, setting high standards in everything we do, so that we enable each individual to confidently carve their own path in the world. We aim to do this through a talented and committed team of staff and governors through supporting children’s attainments, achievements and emotional wellbeing so that every child is successful.

Children love being part of De Beauvoir with parents telling us that their children are excited about coming to school, they love the staff and school dinners (!) and they feel safe. At De Beauvoir we know that happy children make the best learners. With this in mind we do our utmost to ensure education is enjoyable by creating a supportive and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
