Network International School, Secondary and Sixth Form

Network International School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational all-through school in Myanmar, serving students from the age of 2-16. The all-through school is situated in Yangon and has approximately 708 students on record, from over 50 different nationalities.

Network International School was founded in 1996 by Carole and U Kyaing, formerly known as Network Early Childhood Care and Development Centre. It follows the British Curriculum and imports resources from the UK to ensure that the learning environment is authentic of a British school. Facilities include an outdoor FIFA grade football pitch, ICT rooms and science laboratories. Pupils go on to site their IGCSE exams.

Network International School wants to provide all students with a nurturing, safe, secure and stimulating learning environment where they can develop as individuals and fulfil their potential across the curriculum. The school believes in the importance of teaching children to take responsibility for their actions  and encourages them to contribute positively to society. Teachers come from across the world and help add to the schools diverse, international community, which celebrates and embraces its many different cultures and helps prepare pupils for their roles as global citizens. It is the belief of Network International School that all students are gifted, and dedicated teachers work to help individuals discover their personal skills and talents and help them to develop them accordingly. The school wants pupils to leave as confidence, happy and independent learners who are ready for the challenges and opportunities of a modern and ever-changing world.
