About the Position

We are looking for talented and dedicated individuals who will bring skills and enthusiasm to their role as educators. As a school, we follow the British National Curriculum and the teachers are responsible for classes of up to 18 children in the EYFS and a maximum of 24 children for Primary. The teachers will also be responsible for the social and emotional well-being of students and work as part of a wider team in supporting each other with shared planning, and daily roles.

Teachers must hold a Bachelor of Education Degree (or a Bachelor’s Degree and iPGCE in the relevant age range) and have experience teaching the EYFS or Key Stage 1/2. Experience in an International British National Curriculum School or UK school is desirable.

A generous amount of release time is provided to enable good planning and accurate assessment of the children. We also have weekly meetings to ensure continuous professional development and time to engage with peer-led learning.

About London Academy Rabat

We are the only British International school in Rabat, the beautiful capital of Morocco. London Academy Rabat (LAR) began in August 2020 and is a co-educational one form entry through school.

We strive to provide a student-centric, values-driven education to our students in a nurturing environment where pupils can develop the necessary skills to thrive in the modern global community. The LAR community is especially enriched by its eclectic mix of staff and students hailing from over 30 different countries. As an inclusive school, LAR prides itself on its’ inviting and supportive environment, promoting the values of tolerance, care, honesty, respect, resilience, and integrity at the heart of our student-centred curriculum.

At London Academy, we are committed to maintaining our small school environment, with plans to remain a one-form entry from Nursery to Year 13 at full capacity. This decision reflects our dedication to preserving our nurturing family atmosphere. Although relatively new, the school offers exciting opportunities for staff to join us during this dynamic phase, contributing to a forward-thinking school community and fostering professional growth.
